Critical courses I've taken during my Biotechnology degree:

Fundamentals of Plant Pathology - where I became familiarized with plant pests, diseases, and management

the class where I learned the importance of taxonomic and evolutionary relationships, and how the science of plants and genomes is an understudied field

Horticultural Physiology-

where I learned how plants are unique biochemical and physiological factories, producing things that humans can utilize better if we understand how they function from the molecular to organismic level

Organic Chemistry 2 Laboratory -

the class that taught me many common and useful chemical techniques to help me better understand how different organic substances work, and partly inspired my interest in lab research
